The Pilot Point Independent School District will be embarking on a strategic planning process which is designed to capitalize on the core values and core purpose of the District while adapting to the changing environment. This important process will help us identify long and short-term goals that will determine our course of action for the next 3 to 5 years. The District Strategic Planning Team will be comprised of parents, students, community members, business members and campus staff that was recommended by the four district campuses. The complete process will take several months and will entail three full days of planning sessions.
Pilot Point ISD Board of Trustees have retained services through Betty Burks who will be the external facilitator assisting the district in the planning process. Mrs. Burks has served more than 30 years in public education. She is currently an independent educational consultant specializing in strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational improvement processes.
We are excited about the upcoming process. Input from the entire community will be instrumental in establishing a plan that is relevant to the district’s future direction and priorities. If you are interested in serving on an action team please complete the forms on this link. Click here.
If you have not registered in Parent Portal, it is required that all families register. This is a great way for you to stay notified on assignments and grades of your child. Please visit the following website to register.
