Mr. Todd Olson

My name is Todd A. Olson. I am originally from Dallas and I have been a resident of Pilot Point since 1983. I attended the University of Arkansas before settling in Pilot Point. I was a Master Offset Press Operator for Tetra Pak Denton for ten years. I later attended Southern Methodist University School of Engineering in the pursuit of Computer Science degree where I earned my Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification in 1999 as well as other certifications. My hobbies include fishing, welding, working on engines, photography, motorcycling and working with my hands along with geeky stuff. I have two sisters and three sons that have gone through the PPISD school system. I am a believer in PPISD and am vested in the Pilot Point community.

While working for a Dallas software company I did some consulting for PPISD and in 2000 was offered the full time position of District Technology Technician for PPISD which has allowed me to be closer to my family. In 2010 I became the District Network Administrator. PPISD’s IT Department has endured many changes over the years, all in the pursuit of providing the latest proven technology and tools to empower Pilot Point students for the future. The Pilot Point community lifestyle is a “Can Do” lifestyle and that has always translated into good things happening in the Pilot Point School District.
