Mrs. Milner

Kandis Milner graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Texas Woman's University. While at TWU, she was a member of the volleyball team for all 4 years. After graduation, Mrs. Milner began her teaching career at Little Elm ISD. She then switched jobs to Pilot Point ISD for the 2011-2012 school year. This will be her 7th year at Pilot Point High School and 9th year teaching.

Mrs. Milner has been married for 8 years to her husband Tex Milner. He is also a teacher at Pilot Point High School. They have a son named Thor and a daughter named Aela.

Mrs. Milner enjoys traveling. She has been to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Jamaica, Italy, France, Spain, China, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Late Work:

One day late-  15 points subtracted from graded paper

Two days late-  30 points subtracted from graded paper

Three days late-  student earns a 0

*Policy goes into effect once the teacher has posted grades.

 

Make-Up Policy:

All students will have opportunity to make up work from an excused absence.  The student will have the same number of days he missed plus one to make up for any missing work.  So, for example, if a student is absent for two days, he’ll have a total of three days to make up all missing assignments.
