Mrs. Tammy Glascock
We welcome you as students and parents to the Agricultural Science Department (classes) and the Pilot Point FFA. My name is Tammy Glascock and I am one of three teachers and advisors involved in the program. Ms. Brinlee, Mr. Glascock, and myself are excited that we are getting the opportunity to work with each and every one of you!
As an instructor, I am starting my thirty - third year of teaching, with twenty - seven of those being in the Pilot Point I.S.D.
Being ACTIVE in our classes and the FFA will be a wonderful opportunity for you to be involved and engaged in a variety of activities such as: Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Ag. Mechanics, Floral Design, Animal Projects, and the largest scholarship program in the country! These opportunities and activities will promote success after high school regardless of your career choice. Get INVOVLED, it will be well worth your time!

One day late- 15 points subtracted from graded paper
Two days late- 30 points subtracted from graded paper
Three days late- student earns a 0
*Policy goes into effect once the teacher has posted grades.
Daily Work; 40%. Teachers are required to have at least 7 daily work grades each six weeks. A quiz will count as two grades but only as one assignment.
Tests/Projects; 60%. Teachers are required to have at least 3 test/project grades each six weeks
Grade Updating Requirement
All PPHS teachers are required to update their grades at least once a week as required by Pilot Point High School Campus policy.
All students will have opportunity to make up work from an excused absence. The student will have the same number of days he missed plus one to make up for any missing work. So, for example, if a student is absent for two days, he’ll have a total of three days to make up all missing assignments.
Any student who plagiarizes or cheats on any assignment or helps another student cheat will receive a zero on that assignment plus disciplinary action.
Semester Exams & Exemption Policy
Exemptions are based on grades, attendance, and discipline. Only seniors are exempt first semester, all grade levels can be exempt second semester if they meet guidelines.
Board Policy EIA(Local)
Any student who has failed any assignment may redo that assignment, provided that the student has met the grading guidelines. The maximum grade a student will receive will be a 70 . The student will have a total of five school days to redo the assignment once it has been posted in the gradebook.
