PPISD will hold classes on May 16 and 23 to make up two of the days missed for bad weather
Inclement weather and icy roadways caused Pilot Point ISD to cancel classes on December 6, 9, 10, & 11, 2013. The Texas Education Agency requires school districts to schedule two bad weather makeup days in the school calendar. Pilot Point ISD scheduled bad weather makeup days for Friday, May 16, 2014, and Friday, May 23, 2014. Both of these days will now be utilized as instructional days. TEA has approved a waiver for the two additional instructional days missed in December.
A waiver for Monday, February 3, 2014, and any additional missed instructional days, will be submitted to TEA in March, and an update will be posted in late spring.
